People of Chapel Street

Armed with my camera around my neck, I took a quick walk down Chapel Street, capturing the unbeknownst people of this popular East Melbourne street. This was tricky because I wanted to capture people going about their every day business without them knowing I was sneakily taking photos of them, so I kept the camera hanging around my neck and lining up the shots as best I could. Fairly happy with the results, some even look as though they are focused on the camera. Perhaps I'm working myself up to do a People of New York style post one day. People of Melbourne and Sydney watch out!

Cylinder

If you've frequented Swanston Street in the heart of Melbourne CBD in the past few weeks, you should have noticed a new micro cafe has opened in an old News Cylinder. Cool, huh?!

This new and exciting cafe is unique in it's design and attracts a lot of city slickers, because how can you not be attracted by this clever conversion. Also, coffee. Professionally made and tasty coffee. And if you know any thing about Melbourne, it's that we make a damn good coffee and Cylinder is no exception. Oh and I mustn't forget to mention all their delicious cakes, slices, breaky's and lunches.

Be sure to check out Cylinder. Monday to Friday on the cnr. of Swanston street and Little Bourke street. Do it!
