Rome is amazing, I only had one day to pack it all in, so it was up early and I wasn't stopping till my train left that night at 10pm. Safe to say I conquered Rome in one day, well the most popular monuments anyway, started at the Vatican, St Pauls, walked down to Trevi fountain, and the crowds at each place just get bigger and bigger, never seen so many tourists. Pantheon and Piazza Venezia, through all the Roman Ruins and finally Colosseum. I even had all the typical Italian cuisine, pizza, gelato, finishing the day off with ravioli and vino bianco.
