Blue Lagoon

This day we hired scooters and took a long (long because as like all other tourists we hired scooters without licenses and were then stopped by the Balinese police three times, third time was for well over an hour, shitting myself) ride up to a small beach called the Blue Lagoon. Now I didn't get to take many photos as the camera was tucked away in a bag whilst on the journey and there wasn't much else to see once we got there, although it is a very beautiful spot. We didn't stay long as its wasn't a good day for swimming, it was so rough and it was getting late. Also had a two hour ride back and didn't fancy riding in the dark with all the mad Balinese motorists.

Safari & Marine Park

So one of our days out was spent at the Bali Safari & Marine Park a beautiful Balinese meets African Savannah home for hundreds of amazing animals. Favourite part of the day was spent watching the white tigers play for well over an hour, also viewing a very disappointing feeding and then meeting a not so small, yet very cute and tame sedated lion cub. Oh and another highlight was the Elephant ride, me and mum got a soaking from one of the other Elephants as he sprayed us from the watering hole, cheeky thing had a grin on his face the entire time.
